                   Teaching Philosophy and Methods:

Jericho Huang possesses a deep understanding of the intricate body movements that underlie virtuoso piano techniques. He believes that playing the piano is more than just using fingers to press the keys—it involves using effective body motions like weight transfer, wrist movements, rotation, and body weight to help the fingers create beautiful sounds on the piano. Developing an awareness of these movements is essential to becoming a virtuoso pianist.

Jericho employs creative ideas to make the learning process more engaging, efficient, and enjoyable for his students. He teaches them to be mindful and emotionally invested while playing. His groundbreaking teaching method encompasses not only piano lessons, but also physical exercises and mental practice that students can perform away from the instrument. These practices enhance students' physical strength, endurance, memorization, accuracy, and confidence, allowing them to play faster, longer, and more powerfully while minimising the risk of injury.

Many of Jericho's advanced students, who are currently enrolled in music universities, continue taking lessons with him to further their studies. His innovative teaching philosophy and dedication to his students' growth set him apart as a truly exceptional piano instructor.
